How to Stay Energetic to Complete Longer Road Trips on A Motorcycle?

Have you ever sat on a long-distance journey only to find out that you cannot do it because of the fatigue and tiredness? Here are some simple tips to stay energetic in order to complete a long-distance road trip on a motorcycle. Let's get started!  


Start Early 

A very useful tip to stay full of energy till the end of a righteous to conserve energy at the beginning of your right. And in order to do that make sure to start early. The best time to go on a long-distance road trips to started around 5:00 AM or maximum by 6:00 AM in the school going population has not awakened yet! When the roads are free and empty you can make good ground without worrying about the traffic. This helps in keeping more energy for the remainder of the ride.   


Stay Hydrated 

Many first timers make the mistake of ignoring the need to stay hydrated. Carry a water bottle with you I deal with electrolyte solution in it so that you can take a little ship in between rights and keep the water levels in your body in the optimum level. If it is winter, you do not want to ship on cold water, you can always invest in a thermos flask and carry hot tea or coffee in it. Be Positive 

The human psychology also plays a very important role in being able to overcome tall challenges. Writing for 500 or 600 kilometers are the is a psychological challenge in itself, which is why you need to stay positive at all times. Do not let any challenge or negative aspect after right impact you. Focus on the positive things that you will achieve after the ride. It might be a good idea to write down a list of 5 to 10 things that you want to achieve at the end of the ride. This does not have to be huge achievements; even simple ones will keep your mind engaged and positive which will help you in completing the ride.  


Eat and Rest Well 

The body needs fuel and rest to perform well. Don't skip on a good breakfast, even if you start early in the morning, stop for a break at around 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM for a healthy breakfast. This is also the perfect time to get in contact with people back home and give them an update of your upcoming itinerary. At the end of the ride, consume a simple and easy to digest meal and try to sleep well. Get at least 7 to 8 hours of good sleep so that your body is full of energy for the ride the next day.  

 

Take the Less Congested Route 

Avoid riding too congested city roads. Check the Google Maps application on your mobile phone and find out routes with less congestion. that way you don't have to get stuck in traffic or continuously use the class to crawl and very slow speeds- both of which is not conducive to covering long distances. Most bypass roads are built with the purpose of letting people cross through the region without having to enter into the city. So, make best use of those.  


Stay Entertained (Safely!) 

Keeping yourself entertained while on the ride might be a good idea to keep your energy levels high. Want to do that ask to invest in a premium helmet with inbuilt Bluetooth modules which will let you take calls undergo as well as listen to music while riding a motorcycle. One word of caution here, never listen to music at loud volumes because you do not want to drown the ambient noises around you. This way you can stay entertained as well as be aware of everything happening around you so that you can make conscious safety decisions.

Never stress yourself beyond your comfort zone, and definitely don't ride if you feel fatigue and tired. Consider stopping the ride to rest and postpone the ride until you feel well.
